Ingredients:
shrimp (fresh) - 1 lbs
pearl onion (crushed) - 2 cups
turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
chilli powder - 3/4 teaspoon
kudam puli - 1 piece
cooking oil - 3 tablespoon
curry leaves
Directions:
1. Mix shrimp, salt, turmeric, ginger
paste, kudam puli, chilli powder (1/4
teaspoon for now) and curry leaves
in a pan
2. Add water to cover the shrimp & cook
until the shrimp is cooked and the water
boils away completely
3. Shut off the heat and remove the curry
leaves and kudam puli
4. In another pan, add oil in a pan and
add crushed onions
5. When the onion starts turning brown,
add the remaining chilli powder and the
shrimp
6. Fry till the shrimp is thoroughly
fried.
