Ingredients:
Urad dal 150 grms
Onion
Green chilli
curry leaves
salt to taste
oil
Directions:
Sock the urad dal for two hours, grind
it in a mixie with minimum water to
get a pasty form (the dal should not
be ground very fine small grains should
remain). cut the onion and green cilli
into small pieces and mix it with the
ground paste. Add salt and curry leaves.
Mix it with a spoon, take a small quantity
in hand and make round and flat shape.
Make a hole in center. Apply little
water on hand before starting to make
the vada to avoide sticking on hand.
Now heat the oil in a pan, fry it well
till it gets a light brownish color.
Remove it from the oil and serve warm.
