Ingredients:
chicken - 6 legs
sliced onions - 3 medium
sliced tomato - 1 medium
green chilli - 4
pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon
chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoon
ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
chicken masala powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon
cooking oil - 5 tablespoon
curry leaves
coriander leaves (optional)
Directions:
1. Cut each chicken legs into 2 pieces
each
2. Mix the chicken pieces with salt,
pepper, chilli powder & turmeric
powder and keep aside for half an hour.
3. Pour the cooking oil in a pan and
start heating it
4. When the oil has warmed up, add the
sliced onions and green chillies.
5. When the onion starts turning brown,
add ginger and garlic paste along with
curry leaves. Fry for 1 minute
6. Add sliced tomatoes. Mix and fry for
5-10 minutes
7. Add chicken masala powder. Mix well
8. Add the marinated chicken pieces and
mix with the masala.
9. Keep turning the pieces over for about
3 minutes
10. Add water so that the chicken pieces
are just submerged
11. Close the pan with a lid and cook
for about 30 minutes or until the chicken
pieces are well cooked.
Note: You can also add a touch of coriander
leaves for additional taste
